Situated on the border of the Mercantour National Park and at the foot of the unique Vallon de Laverq, Camping River provides the perfect base camp for an array of activities. Whether it’s to explore the natural history or partake in one of the many sports on offer in the Ubaye Valley.
If you are not content taking in the natural beauty of the surroundings from your sun lounger by the river, or gazing at the vast array of nature, the geographic situation of Camping River will not disappoint, not only because the most exciting part of the river with more than 30 rapids for rafting departs from the site; but also because the Grand Route des Alpes passes by the door and the Transubayenne VTT route (80km) passes the campsite.
